As of June 1, 2023, the Jersey City Department of Recreation & Youth Development has moved to our new online system, Facilitron, for facility field permits and scheduling. While this will take a little time to have everything converted to reflect accurate availability, we ask that you please help us make this process as seamless as possible. First, we need to you create an account on www.facilitron.com/cityofjerseycity upload your current certificate of insurance.

Programs
The City of Jersey City Department of Recreation & Youth Development will hold 6 1-week summer day camp sessions for residents youth ages 6 -14 (camper must be age 6 by the week they are attending; camper cannot be older than 14 by the week they are attending). Week 1 will run from June 30, 2025 – July 3, 2024. There will be no camp on Thursday July 4th.
Recreation counselors will lead children through fun-filled days of camp curriculum and activities that include sports, arts and crafts, special events, field trips and much more!
Camp will operate Monday – Friday 8:30a.m. – 3:30p.m. Transportation is available to and from camp (FROM 3 DESIGNATED PICKUP LOCATIONS) . That is a separate registration. SPACE IS LIMITED.
Breakfast and Lunch will be provided daily.
Children must be dropped off and picked up (ID must be presented at time of pick-up). Campers are permitted to walk home if indicated at the time of check/sign-in. There will be no exception to this policy!

If your camper(s) fees are not paid in full for the week attending, their registration will be CANCELLED. If you need assistance with making your online payment please do not hesitate to contact the main office. Someone will be glad to help you.
Applicants must upload child’s birth certificate, proof of address and complete the online participation form. Any information previously uploaded for a previous program is transferrable. If this is the case, you DO NOT need to submit a duplicate. You must also submit your child’s universal health form (physical must have been completed within the year). Your child’s Universal Health form & the Income Guideline & Disclaimer Form is due no later than May 1st; any registration completed on or after June 1st must be submitted by no later than June 15th. Failure to follow this document submission schedule will result in forfeiture of you camp spot. NO EXCEPTIONS
